Enjoy the fun of an all-male staff that flirt with your husband while you're left to eat food that's to die for...
There are secret Gay Paris places you might never expect. Behind the Panthéon on a quiet and somewhat hidden street of the Latin Quarter, you'll come across this romantic restaurant called Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). At first you'll wonder what dark alley you're walking down to get there, and then the warmly-lit red entrance appears, and the mood is complete.
As you enter the warm restaurant the aroma of excellent French food will hit you, and you'll see that the decor is extravagant and gaudy, yet so done in a professional (if flamboyantly) classical way, for which only metrosexuals and homosexuals can brag to have the talent. You must take a little walk around if given a chance, to really take in the interior. I've yet to see another restaurant in Paris quite like it.
If you're a man, you'll soon begin to realize that the very good looking and nicely dressed all-male waiters haven't eyes for your lovely lady dinner partner, but instead for you! Their flirting is harmless and a lot of fun, and never too much. It makes for a more outgoing evening. If you get a chance, then do stop and chat with the bartender at the door, who also happens to be the owner. He's very friendly and loves to shoot the breeze with the clientele.
The menu is comprised of traditional French dishes and desserts. All are very tasty and well cooked. To start, have an aperitif - the Kir Cassis. This is white wine with a blueberry liqueur added, and a traditional French pre-dinner drink. Then for dinner, there are an assortment of items, including hors d'oeuvre of poulet farci boudin noir (blood sausage and stuffed chicken) and salads comprised of various delicious ingredients and cheeses. You can then order Saute d'agneau (lamb stew) or Confit de Canard (Roasted Duck), among other traditional French dishes. Their wine list is extensive and very nice. Ask your flirtatious waiter for the house red-wine. For dessert be sure to try the crème caramel, which comes to your table on fire!
The prices aren't expensive at all, considering the quality of food you get, and even so, still won't break the bank. Dinner can run to 25-35 euros per person, depending on what you order and the quality of wine you select. The price paid is well worth the excellent service, ambiance and delicigasms that you receive. This restaurant is well liked among locals, and always full, so call ahead to book a table or you may find yourself turned away.

Indeed it's a fantastic restaurant! It's my favorite in Paris so far! Great ambiance, friendly staff, quick service, and it's not too cher at all! They have a 2 course menu for 16 Euros! The food was great and if you go there, be sure not to missed the duck liver (sorry for my lack of french). This appertiser that comes with jam and tasty wheat bread is really 'to die for'...
The only disappointing thing could be that since I went there with my husband and his family (we were 6 altogether), so we did not get to flirt with the waiters at all......and they are cute indeed...
