* The city of Paris is putting in Wi-Fi at various locations across the city, including (but not limited to): museums, libraries and parks around the city. Click here for that list. 

* Hotspot is a fairly recent wave in France. It's a group of cafes that offer you free internet access. How do you get it? You just go in, but a drink, and then ask for your "Freecard"... and with that, you get the code you need to access their WiFi.
