Even though you live in such a beautiful city as Paris, who doesn’t like to get out of it every once in a while? But if you’re like most people - on a budget, trying to work and have a life all at once - embarking on that long and tiring search for the best (cheapest!) air tickets from Paris to other destinations in Europe can often take more time than actually going ahead and taking the holiday!
Luckily, someone in the cyberspace universe is looking out for restless travellers everywhere.

Try the funky and useful little site called Skyscanner.net. This site brings together all the budget airlines in one place, and allows you to compare them, providing a user-friendly way to decide where you should go, and who you should fly with.
The site allows search by date – this is very useful if you’ve got a weekend in July when you know you want to go away. Simply click on the “Suggested Breaks” link. This will prompt you to fill in the date details and hey presto! Skyscanner will tell you exactly what places you can fly to most cheaply in that period. (In this way, I once managed to score tickets to Cologne from Paris for 1 cent of a euro (+ tax). Bargain!)
Alternatively, if you know you would like to go to Berlin, but it doesn’t matter much what weekend you go, select the “Flights To” tab. Select a desirable month, follow the prompts and you’ll soon be able to view a graph which shows you the times in the month during which you can find the cheapest tickets. So you can decide whether leaving Tuesday the 13th is better than leaving Wednesday the 21st, and take the ‘cheap and cheerful’ way there.
Skyscanner doesn’t make a commission on the tickets – if you go direct to the cheap airline site, you will find the same prices. It is simply a great search facility which takes the work out of planning your holidays. So save yourself the trouble, and concentrate on getting out of Paris!
